This masterpiece began months before the first weave. The werregue had to be gathered at the right moment, cleaned, split, and prepared. The natural dyes — earth, leaf, bark — were created slowly, through processes passed down from mothers and grandmothers. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is improvised. Time itself becomes part of the material.
